Do you ship Canada wide?
Yes! We offer two-way shipping to everywhere in Canada, simply select your arrival date and if you need it for a longer period than four days, please reach out to us at customerservice@travellinglehngas.com or call us at +1 (807) 700- 7683. We’d be happy to assist you!
Do I need to account for shipping time in my rental term?
No, your rental term of 4 days is the time you will have the dress for. You don’t need to account for shipping times to and from you in your rental term. For instance, if your event is on Tuesday the 22nd, you would select your rental start date as the 21st, and then you would just need to return it via mail to us on Friday the 24th
How far in advance can I rent a dress?
Dresses can be reserved online or by phone up to 6 months in advance. Full payment of the rental fee reserves the dress for your booked dates. You can select a four-day rental period and choose to either have the item shipped to you or pick it up from our location in Oshawa.
What are the shipping deadlines for last min orders?
Orders ship out Monday to Friday via Canada Post and they deliver Monday to Friday, so weekend orders must be booked to arrive Fridays. We unfortunately do not offer delivery on Saturdays & Sundays, however pickup is available from our Oshawa location on those days between business hours.
Within ONTARIO, we need a minimum of 3 business days to get your dress to you.
For ALL OTHER PROVINCES, please allow a minimum of 5 business days.
For GTA, we may be able to make accommodations for you and get your dress earlier to you. If you require it urgently, please contact us at +1 (807) 700-7683 to confirm details. In addition, you may also choose to pick up your dress from our Oshawa location during our business hours, 7 days a week. If possible, please reserve your dress a few weeks in advance!
What is the cost of shipping?
Within Ontario, 2-way shipping via Canada Post or local courier is $15, and to all other provinces two-way shipping is $25. Your rental will come with a pre-paid, Canada Post return label that you can simply attach to the package and drop it in the mail on the last day of your rental term. There is also a free pick-up and drop-off option from our Oshawa location.
Can I drop by anytime to pick up my dress from the Oshawa location?
If you will be picking up your dress from our Oshawa location, please notify us by email or phone ahead of your arrival. You can reach out to us at customerservice@travellinglehngas.com or call us at +1 (807) 700- 7683.
What if I receive my dress in the mail and it doesn't fit?
We’ll always try our best to provide you with as much information as possible so this doesn’t happen. If you have any concerns in regards to the size and you think that it may not fit – please reach out to us ahead of your booked dates and we’ll be happy to clarify any details or discuss making any alterations that you may need.
You may choose between store credit or a refund for the rental, as long as it is posted back to us unworn within 24 hours. Please note that we cannot refund shipping / courier fees.
Do I need to worry about the dry cleaning of dresses?
No you don’t, your rental fee covers the cost of dry cleaning and our team utilizes specific eco-friendly products. If you accidentally stain the dress please don’t worry about cleaning it yourself, we will take care of it as long as it's minor.
Do you ship to the US?
We currently only offer Canada-wide shipping
I have a lot of dresses sitting in my closet - will you buy them?
Currently we’re not buying any dresses, however we may decide to do so in the future. Stay tuned!
What if I need a dress for more than four days?
No problem, get in touch with us and we’ll see what we can do to make this happen for you!
What are your late fees?
Late fees are charged at $20 per day up to 5 days, at which time you will be charged the full retail price of the dress (in addition to your pre-paid rental fee). For dresses being mailed back, late fees will only be charged if the dress is postmarked at a later date than agreed upon, you will not be charged for any carrier delays.
What happens if the dress gets damaged during my rental?
It happens, we understand, and most of these issues can be fixed. We strongly recommend opting for our $5 Rental Insurance which covers you for small wear and tear issues including small stains, zipper issues etc. If you choose not to purchase the rental insurance you will be charged for any minor repairs needed upon return of the dress. Travelling Lehngas reserves the right to determine whether damages are covered by our rental insurance. If the dress is lost during your rental period or returned damaged beyond repair you will be charged the full retail value of the dress which is listed within each listing for all of our products.
Can I send anyone else to pick up my rental for me?
Yes you can! Please just notify us by email at customerservice@travellinglehngas.com or call us at +1 (807) 700- 7683 to let us know ahead of the pickup time.
